Welcome to my online diary. These posts are impressions from my life. I guess in some ways, for some people, they could be construed as genius while for others, utter boredom ;) Either way, I think and edit before I publish, you can count on that. I hope you find it a good read.

I've been blogging siince December of 2006 and become quite into the subculture and business of it. If you'd like to read more about me, please visit my online resume and drop me a line. Enjoy DATSOL!

That Was When I Ruled the World

I heard Coldplay’s new single, “Viva la Vida” today and it felt like I was hearing music for the first time.  Below is a full streaming link but I am not sure how long it will stay live, so check it out quick:

ColdPlay’s “Viva la Vida.”

If I had a band and a song, this would be my release.

Hi, I thought it is great. I love music generally. I have their previous album. This one may not be a smashing hit though. we’ll see.

    Hi -

Over from Change Therapy, checking out her brilliant award winners. I’ll look around. Always looking for good psych blogs (a psychologist, myself).

I think I saw Coldplay sing this song on a late night tv show, Colbert maybe? And this studio version is much better than that live version. I’m glad I heard this, I had thought Coldplay had gone cold.

I have been very interested and impressed when I have heard the song: (that was when I ruled the world). To me it is a great return to melody, intense urgent feelings and clever production -all the things I have loved in my choice of music.

I had my first complete listen today on the radio. I am pretty sure as far as drums go, I only heard a kick drum ….very clever fresh and modern to have a song sound so complete that way! ~richard
